Vince Gibson enters his tenth season with the Golden Eagles and is the longest tenured head coach of LCCC men’s soccer. Last season he led the team to a 17-3 record and its ninth winning season. The Golden Eagles won the NJCAA Region IX Title and finished ranked #11 in the nation.

The Golden Eagles have had great success under Gibson, leading the Golden Eagles to seven regular season conference championships. 

 His overall record at LCCC is 113-49-8. In his first two seasons, his teams won back-to-back Region IX Tournament championships and extended the college’s dominance over that tournament to five straight. He also was named 2008, 2009, 2011, 2015 and 2016 NJCAA Region IX Coach of the Year.

 Over a span of eight seasons, Gibson has produced five All-Americans, five Academic All-Americans, and eighty-two All-Region performers.

 Gibson joined Laramie County Community College in 2008 after coaching both men’s and women’s soccer at Dodge City Community College in Kansas. He was named the 2007 NJCAA Region VI Soccer Coach of the Year. His overall record at the NJCAA level is 130-64-11.

Coach Gibson also volunteers his time as a club coach with the local Cheyenne Soccer Club.

Gibson earned his Associates degree from College of Southern Idaho and went on to earn his Bachelors of Science degree from Idaho State University. He completed his Master degree from Concordia University-Irvine.

Coach Gibson is married to the lovely Katie Beutler, which they have four children; Zander (20), Bodhi (17), Shelby (14), and Timber (7).
