Casper, Wyo. – September 5, 2025
The Laramie County Community College men's soccer team dropped a tough road contest Friday night, falling 3–1 to Casper College at Kelly Walsh High School. Despite a resilient second-half push and a well-taken goal from freshman Liam Dols, the Golden Eagles couldn't overcome an early three-goal deficit.
First Half: Casper Jumps Ahead
Casper struck quickly, breaking the deadlock in the 5th minute when Roy Nozawa finished a buildup involving Jael Reyes and Francesco Panetta. The hosts doubled their advantage midway through the half, with Panetta finding the back of the net off service from Nozawa and Justin Godbout-Garon in the 28th minute.
The Golden Eagles fought hard to get back into the game, creating four first-half shots, but went into the break trailing 2–0.
Second Half: Dols Provides Spark
Casper extended the lead shortly after halftime when Hedy Bechar made it 3–0 in the 50th minute, finishing a play created by Godbout-Garon and Toa Suzuki.
LCCC responded in the 68th minute when Liam Dols delivered a highlight moment, smashing home a volley from 16 yards out off an assist from Tayvin Boeckel. The goal lifted the Golden Eagles' energy, but Casper's defense held firm the rest of the way.
