LCCC Golden Eagles Conclude Competition at CNFR

The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles wrapped up their 2026 season at the prestigious College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, with several student-athletes representing the program on the national stage.

In bull riding, Kahl J. Wasilow closed out his season with a strong performance in the third go-round, posting a score of 75 points to earn a fourth-place finish in the round. Wasilow's ride marked his final competition of the season and capped off an impressive year competing against the nation's top collegiate bull riders.

In breakaway roping, Rayna L. Billingsley battled through three rounds of competition. After recording no-times in the first and second go-rounds, Billingsley bounced back in the third round with a time of 2.5 seconds, placing sixth in the round. Her performance marked the conclusion of her 2026 season at the national finals.

Fellow breakaway roper Kaitlynn A. Idler also represented the Golden Eagles in Casper. Idler opened the CNFR with a 22nd-place finish in the first go-round after posting a time of 3.6 seconds. Following a no-time in the second go-round, she concluded her season with a 19th-place finish in the third go-round, recording a time of 12.0 seconds.

The Golden Eagles were proud to have multiple student-athletes qualify for collegiate rodeo's premier event, showcasing the talent and determination that have become hallmarks of the LCCC rodeo program. Competing against the best athletes from across the country, the Golden Eagles once again demonstrated their ability to perform on one of the sport's biggest stages.
