POWELL, WY - The No. 16 ranked Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles (8-2-2, 4-2-1) shutout the Northwest Trappers (5-3-1, 3-1-1) 2-0 on Friday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles opened the scoring early, taking a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. After a foul in the box, Jenaya Brown (Edmonton, Alberta) stepped to the sport and beat the keeper to give the Golden Eagles the lead on her sixth goal of the season.

Mattiese Loreton (Caves Beach, Australia) scored her first goal of the season to double the lead at 2-0 in the 22nd minute, putting away a pass from Hanah Cornaby (Springville, Utah)
 
London Ewing (Alpine, Utah) stopped both shots on target from the Trappers, earning the shutout.
