Victoria Espinoza Named NJCAA First Team All-American After Breakout Season

Victoria Espinoza passes a ball

Laramie County Community College freshman Victoria Espinoza, a dynamic left back from Kerns, Utah, made an immediate impact in her debut season, proving to be a force on both ends of the field. Her ability to defend with precision while contributing to the attack set her apart as one of the most versatile players in NJCAA Division I soccer.

Espinoza was an integral part of a defensive unit that recorded seven shutouts, consistently neutralizing dangerous attacks and keeping opponents scoreless. Her sharp defensive instincts and blistering pace made her a formidable presence at the back, while her willingness to push forward injected creativity and attacking depth into LCCC's offense.

Not content with just defending, Espinoza surged into the attack throughout the season, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists—numbers that rival those of attacking players. Her ability to transition from defense to offense made her one of the most dangerous left backs in the country.

Espinoza's standout performances earned her a spot on the 2025 NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer First Team All-American, one of the most prestigious honors in junior college soccer. This achievement adds to an already impressive list of accolades:
