CHEYENNE, WY - The Golden Eagles (2-1) finished off the LCCC Volleyball Invitational by beating McCook (1-2) 3-2 on Saturday evening. 

Freshman McKenzie Earl (Rawlins, Wyo.) recorded a career-high 15 digs, combining with Rigan McInerney (Gillette, Wyo.) for 30 total digs. 

The Golden Eagles dropped the first set 25-23 before taking the next set, 25-21.

Kalme Moncavo (Sao Paulo, Brazil) had 14 kills in the win.

The Golden Eagles dropped the third set 25-22 before winning the next two, 25-20 and 15-6 to win their second straight match. 

Shelby Veenstra (Twin Falls, Idaho) finished with 32 assists.

The Golden Eagles are back in action on Friday vs Otero at 7:00 pm
