Laramie County Community College Volleyball Signs Libero Madison Thistle for 2026 Season

Laramie County Community College Volleyball is proud to announce the signing of Madison Thistle, a libero from Broomfield, Colorado, joining the Golden Eagles for the 2026 season.

Thistle becomes the latest addition to LCCC's strong defensive tradition and brings with her a blend of competitiveness, athletic versatility, and an eagerness to embrace the next level of play.

"LCCC was my top choice from the beginning of my recruitment process," Thistle said. "I know the program fosters a competitive atmosphere where athletes can grow and develop, but what really sold me on LCCC was the people. The coaches and the team all made me feel like I could thrive socially and athletically at LCCC."

A hyper-competitive athlete with a relentless work ethic, Thistle has shown impressive upside throughout her club career. During her 16s season, she earned a bid to the Sand Volleyball Nationals in California, and her indoor club team placed top 15 in Colorado (13th) last season—benchmarks that highlight both her drive and her potential.

Thistle says she is eager for the opportunities ahead.

"I am looking forward to getting to know so many new people and making long-lasting friendships with my teammates," she said. "I'm excited to grow and push myself to become the best I possibly can for myself and my teammates. I love to win, and I can't wait to compete at the next level with a great team in a new environment."

LCCC looks forward to Thistle's arrival on campus and the impact she will make both on the court and within the Golden Eagle community.
