CHEYENNE, WY - The Golden Eagles (9-7, 3-3) outscored Northwest (9-9. 3-5) 46-19 in the second half on their way to a 74-61 win on Sunday afternoon.

LCCC held the Trappers to just five points in the third quarter, erasing a 14-point halftime deficit. 

Lucia Fleta (Tenerife, Spain) scored 21 points, hitting a team-high nine free throws while both Sam Hester (Saratoga Springs, Utah) and Kaysen Hobbs (Fort Collins, Colo.) each scored 15 points.

The Golden Eagles closed the game strong by scoring 27 points in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Trappers 27-14 in the final frame to seal the win.

Abby Garreaud (Magna, Utah) brought down a game-high 12 rebounds in the win.

LCCC heads to Rock Springs on Wednesday for a meeting with Western Wyoming at 5:30 pm.
