The Golden Eagles kicked off their home season in spectacular fashion, sweeping Ranger College from Texas in straight sets (3-0) in front of an energized home crowd.

The team came out firing in Set 1, hitting a season-high .416 as a unit, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Sophomore outside hitter Ella Lopez led the charge with an impressive 14 kills and 9 digs, showcasing her all-around game.

In the middle, Beatrice Nani was a force at the net, contributing 12 kills, 5 block assists, and 1 solo block, anchoring the Golden Eagles' front line. Setter Addison Schreurs, also a sophomore, orchestrated the offense with precision, racking up 43 assists on the night.

Defensively, Savannah Cummings stood out with 15 digs, helping the team maintain control and momentum throughout the match.
