The Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Golden Eagles volleyball team continued their strong conference play with two impressive road victories.
Game 1: Victory in Powell
On Friday, the Golden Eagles traveled to Powell, Wyoming, to take on Northwest College. LCCC came out strong and secured a 3-1 win, showcasing their resilience and teamwork on the road.
Game 2: Conference Dominance Continues
Heading into Saturday's matchup with an 11-8 overall record and undefeated in conference play (3-0), the Golden Eagles faced Central Wyoming College. They maintained their momentum, winning the match 3 sets to 1 and improving to 12-8 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
Key performances included:
- Sila Yildiz: 9 kills, hitting .318
- Zoe Bauer: Hit .300 with 3 kills, 1 solo block, and 1 block assist
- Addison Schreurs: 38 assists and 10 digs
- Savannah Cummings: 23 digs
Head Coach Zach Shaver praised the team's effort, saying, "I'm really proud of the girls for traveling and competing at a high level."

The Golden Eagles return home for a non-conference matchup against Northwestern Junior College (NJC) on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Cheyenne. Fans are encouraged to wear blue for the Blue Out theme and come support the Lady Eagles as they continue their season.
