Golden Eagles Wrap Up Regular Season, Set Sights on Region IX Tournament

The Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Golden Eagles closed out their regular season with a 1-1 weekend split, finishing conference play with a strong 9-3 record.

On Friday, the Golden Eagles soared past the Gillette College Pronghorns in four sets (3-1). Sila Yildiz and Lea Susoy led the offensive charge with 14 kills apiece, while Adriana Deming added 10 kills and 16 digs in a standout two-way performance. Libero Savannah Cumming anchored the defense with 29 digs, and setter Addison Schreurs orchestrated the offense with 40 assists.

Saturday's matchup proved more challenging as LCCC faced off against conference-unbeaten Casper College. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Golden Eagles fell in straight sets.
