The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles volleyball team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, sweeping the Western Wyoming College Mustangs in straight sets (3-0). The win boosts LCCC's overall record to 15-10 and their conference standing to 7-1, with just four matches remaining in regular season play.
Sophomore standout Lea Susoy led the charge with a double-digit performance in both offense and defense, tallying 12 kills and 11 digs. Beatrice Nani contributed 10 kills and a block assist, while Addison Schreurs orchestrated the offense with 33 assists, 2 service aces, and 2 block assists.
Sophomore Ella Lopez made a major impact from the service line, recording 6 aces alongside 7 kills, helping the Golden Eagles maintain momentum throughout the match.
"This was a complete team effort," said Head Coach Zach Shaver. "We're proud of how the team executed and stayed focused. With four matches left, we're pushing to finish strong."
The Golden Eagles return home next weekend for back-to-back matches on Friday and Saturday, where they'll look to continue their winning streak and solidify their position in the conference standings.
