The Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Golden Eagles saw their 2025 volleyball season come to a close after a hard-fought match against Central Wyoming College in the Region IX Tournament. Despite their determination and effort, the Golden Eagles fell in straight sets, concluding their season with a 19-14 overall record.
Although the team came up short of their goal to qualify for nationals, their resilience and commitment were evident throughout the season. The players gave their all until the final point, showcasing their dedication and team spirit.
Recognition for individual excellence is still to come, with All-Region and All-Tournament team selections expected to be announced soon.
Looking ahead, LCCC faces a period of transition, with nine sophomores departing and only five freshmen returning. The coaching staff is already focused on recruiting talented new players and developing the returning athletes into strong leaders for the future.
The Golden Eagles may be closing the chapter on this season, but the foundation has been laid for a promising future.
